I started Art by Nature Magazine as a way to find new insights for my own work. For me, nature stands for transcending to another world, a world without the stress of daily life.My sources of inspiration are artists who step from behind the curtain and share how nature feeds their imagination. I communicate directly with them and let them tell their creative journey in their own way. As a passionate storyteller I bring readers and artists together.
Art by Nature provides in-depth creative understanding from artists around the world. Artists featured in Art by Nature Magazine use my platform to show their original, professional and creative journey on a personal and meaningful level. Every edition features content series such as: Behind the Scenes, Through the Eyes of, Inspired by Nature, Photodoc, Gallery Special, Design by Nature, Nature’s Wannahaves and DIY, as well as seasonal content.

What participants say
The editorial idea “Art by Nature” is something I immediately liked. It is modern without concessions and important. It is a pleasure to work with Tessa. Our exchanges are well-thought out and she pays attention to details on the work of artists. She does not try to placate you, but instead tries to better understand the artistic process in multiple interviews and requests for clarification. Tessa adds great expertise on the visual design of the magazine.

Ms. Valk comes up with the right concept for your work because she invests the time necessary to build an intuition for writing about her client. I have been impressed by both her design skills and commitment to her publication. She pays close attention to directions and is ready to reformulate until she achieves the desired effect. I recommend her highly as a skilled, dependable, and imaginative publisher and editor.
I am very pleased to have found a partner and publicist in ‘Art by Nature' online magazine. Thorough journalism with an aesthetic eye for content offer my label Labour of Art - Leather Goods a broader, international platform. I gained more insights on being a creative entrepreneur in the field of Nature and Art which form a source of inspiration. I am proud of being part of yet another edition.

I find Art by Nature magazine a wonderful initiative. Everything I create begins with nature. How beautiful that someone with that same point of view makes a magazine. A magazine created by a designer with a love for nature. Tessa gave room for my ideas and my perspective. With a number of questions as a guide, I interviewed myself and I was able to write a piece in my own time. I liked that very much. It gave me the opportunity to dive deeper into the questions and my own background. There was a lot of trust and space to think about - both in terms of the content and the form. In conclusion, I can say that it was a collaboration with Tessa that went well from the start. And a result that I am very proud of.
